Travel + Leisure Names Beau Rivage One of the World's Best Hotels

Mississippi Standout Makes the Top 500 Hotels List for the Fourth Time

BILOXI, Miss. – Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, MGM MIRAGE’s destination resort on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, has once again been selected as one of the top hotels in the world by Travel + Leisure magazine.

In the magazine’s sixth annual T+L 500, Mississippi’s premier destination resort is one of only two properties in the state and one of just 182 hotels in the United States to be selected among the Top 500 hotels in the world.

The T+L 500 is composed of the 500 hotels that received the highest overall ratings from Travel + Leisure readers in its World's Best survey. Overall scores are an indexed average of evaluations concerning five characteristics: rooms/facilities, location, service, restaurants/food, and value.

Cited as being “Vegas on the Gulf Coast,” Beau Rivage amenities include 1,740 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites; 12 award-winning restaurants; four nightclubs and bars; a state-of-the-art 1,550-seat theatre showcasing world-class production shows and headline entertainment; an upscale shopping promenade with 12 unique retail shops featuring the latest designer trends; a 20,000-square-foot spa & salon; an 85,000-square-foot casino with 93 table games, 2,100 slot machines, 230 video poker games and a 16-table poker room; and Fallen Oak, a new Tom Fazio designed championship golf course recognized among the nation’s best.
