Beau Rivage Lights Up The Sky During Weeklong Independence Day Celebration

$1 Million Lighting System Will Offer Breathtaking View of Resort’s Red, White and Blue

BILOXI – June 29, 2007 – To commemorate MGM MIRAGE’s proud partnership in the Mississippi Gulf Coast rebuilding effort, Beau Rivage will boldly transform the Biloxi skyline during the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Residents and guests of the Mississippi Gulf Coast will see a patriotically lit Beau Rivage, and may enjoy a magnificent fireworks display presented by the resort. Biloxi’s Boom Boom Committee will host their customary display on July 4 and Beau Rivage will keep the weeklong festivities going with a beautiful fireworks display over the Mississippi Sound on July 5 beginning at 9:30 pm.

Beau Rivage’s 32-story hotel will be “dressed” for the occasion with a $1 million dollar architectural lighting system that will honor and celebrate “America the Beautiful.”

The world-renowned Grucci Brothers - established in 1850 and recognized as “America’s First Family of Fireworks”– will produce Beau Rivage’s fireworks spectacular. With a history of producing some of our nation’s most stunning fireworks displays including six consecutive presidential inaugurations; annual Fourth of July fireworks displays over the Washington Monument; the annual New Year’s Eve celebration in New York’s Times Square; Centennials for the Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty, and the Olympic games, Grucci Brother’s Biloxi fireworks display will bring a new level of excitement and patriotism to the Gulf Coast. Best viewed from the Beau Rivage pool deck, the stunning array of ground display effects, strobes, aerial shells, and comets will soar as high as 1,000 feet in the air.

In conjunction with the brilliant firework’s display, Beau Rivage’s Club Tiki will ignite the patriotic spirit and party atmosphere with the musical stylings of “D.J. Oz.” Flying in from Tampa for the occasion, Florida’s super hot D.J. Oz will incorporate a variety of music genres into his show. In addition to the evening’s special patriotic musical montage, D.J. Oz will play a variety of Electronica, Chill, House, Techno, Trance, Reggae, Salsa, Meringue, Riggatone, Hip-Hop and Top 40. Oz has been featured in clubs on Siesta Key in Sarasota and Ybor City, and is the current disc jockey at Mesa Lounge in Tampa.
